I have a William A. Stansbury listed as the son of Jacob and Jane N. Stansbury nee Alexander. Jacob was b. 1793 in Baltimore County, MD and d. 1855 in Meigs County, OH. This may be your William A.
By the way, Jane was Jacob's second wife.
Unfortunately, I did this research before I realized the importance of documenting where I found this information.
I am trying to find John Elijah Stansbury b. 1828 d. 1867 and have been gathering information on various Stansbury lines in the hopes of finding a connection somewhere. So far no luck.
