I am trying to find others who are also researching the Stanko's who lived in Pueblo, CO. around the turn of the last century!
My great grandfather's sister was Mary Fujda Stanko b.1876 somewhere in Austria/Hungary(?). Mary's brother George Fujda stated on his naturalization papers that he was from:
KISFALLU, Austria-Hungary....where ever that is??
Mary Fujda married Frank Stanko in 1894 Pennslvania. Frank stated in 1900 that he was b.1874, Austria.
They moved to Pueblo, CO. sometime between 1897-1898. Their children were: Frank b.1896 PA. & Mary b. 1898 CO.
I believe Frank's parents were:
George b.1846 and Francisca b.1846. (both born Austria)
Frank's brother, George b.1875 & granddaughter, Annie b. 1897 PA. were also listed on the 1900 Pueblo, CO. census.
My great-grandparents, John & Julia Fujda, and their children: John, George & Joseph, were also living in the same apartment complex on Spring Street in Pueblo, CO.
