Hello,

You mentioned a Staniland in Canada - well there are a couple of us, at least. My brother, Christopher Paul Staniland and I are the children of Reginald Edward Staniland & Dorothy Vickers, who came to Canada from Sheffield in 1956. My father's father was George William Staniland.

My parents emigrated to Montreal - my mother, brother & I and families all now live in the Toronto area. My dad is deceased.

If any other Stanilands would like to respond, I'd love to hear from you.
