OOps!! I have stupidly put the wrong name for my great great grandfather - he was Robert born in 1803 not John. John was his father!!!
I have heard of Peter and mary Rudsdale - must have soem stuff on them in my files which I will look up for you.
I think i have six siblings for that Peter and also I have a Robert born in 1845 on 29 march at Lythe (or that might be his baptism date) and his four descendants; Thomas? Mary John R and Elizabeth.
I also have a george Stangoe son of Peter born 3 feb 1878 at Egton and mary. He married Elizabeth Simpson???
this may be the family you are researching?
I think the Hannah Stangoe Willis may be my fathers aunt?
