I have a dilemma. I show my great grandmother's name as Caroline Stanger, but recently discovered her real last name was Kienow, born in 1840 in Germany. She married William Foss and they settled in Minnesota. I am not sure how these names a fit together, but I know they do. I am thinking she was born Kienow, married William Foss, he passed and she married someone named Stanger, but can't be sure if that is right. I am hoping someone can help me out and settle this confusion. Thank you.
