It appears we are related. Earnest Standley was the younger brother of my grandmother, Lena Indiana Standley Lake. Their mother was Margaret A. Brent and father was Alex Standley. Margaret Brent parents were Cader Buxton Brent and Rebecca Cottrell Speer Brent. Many of the Brent family members are buried in the Holly Cemetery. I have an old photo of Earnest and Mattie riding in their horse drawn buggie. Margareth Brent Standley is buried in the Hollywood Cemetery in Houston, Harris County, Texas.
