Hi Norma,
Ura Pyle is my g-g-g-grandmother, and I think Carter is my g-g-g-grandfather (I can't quite make the connection). I have the same info you've posted plus: William and Hannah's marraige date was 1821, they're both buried in Rice Cemetery, Dade Co., MO. The following Standlees are listed in the KY IGI:
David Standlee B: 1796
John Standlee B: 1801
Hannah Standlee B: 1802
Abram Standlee B: 4/4/1810
Joac or John Saandlee M: 1774
I have also come across a web site that will be helpful if you haven't already seen it. http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/p/y/l/Jill-A-Pyle/GENE5-0008.html
this lists the generation of David Stanley and Ura and back eight more. Carter Pyle, however, is not listed there.

I am interested in info on Carter. My g-grandfather's father was Carter Scogeris Pyle, but there's a missing link somewhere :)

Let me know if I can be of any more help, and I would appreciate any other info you might have on the Pyles!

Treece Ames
