Which father for Glibert Standish, b. abt. 1458--Robert or Hugh?

Dear Standish Cousins,

Would anyone know if the father of Gilbert Standish, (born abt. 1458 in Ormskirk, Lancashire, England) is (1)Robert Standish born about 1428 in Standish, Lancashire, England, husband of Margaret Radcliffe, or (2)Hugh Standish, born abt. 1437 in Standish, Lancashire, England and died about 1483? I've got sources for both and any light you could shed would be very greatly appreciated.
