standard marriages
sent & received indian papers on a jesse snow (Born 1792 SC) who married Sarah, Sarah was born 1794 in NC, according to papers she was either a Standard or Henly, the ggggreat Aunt who applied for the indian roll membership in 1909, did not fill out the paper work in great detail. She was the youngest daughter and just about all her siblings have died by then.
Only the family names of Standard and Henly, were mention in connection with Sarah's side of the family. So we are not sure which of the two is Sarah's maiden name, any help would be appreciated. Sarah Standard seems to be the recognized one according to the way she has phrased her paperwork.
Do know that the Standard, Henly families did travel from NC to SC, to GA together. Does anyone have a connection to these two families. The Standards & Henly's started out in VA, to NC, to Abbeville SC into Lincoln Co, GA.
