My records show that Powell Stamper's parents were John STAMPER (abt 1640 - 1689) and Carew Susannah POWELL (abt 1650 - abt 1712). They were married on 8 May 1684 at Christ Church in Middlesex County, Virginia. John Stamper was either born in England or Virginia.
I don't have any siblings listed for Powell Stamper.
You mention something about an Elizabeth possibly being her mother. I don't have that down. Might this have been John Stamper's first wife? If my records are correct, his marriage above occurred when he was about 44. Especially back then, it makes me suspect he may have had a previous wife who died at a young age and that this was a remarriage.
As for Mary Martha Brooks, I show the parents were Jonathan Brooks (abt 1660 - ?) and Sarah Mayo (abt 1660 - ?).
