Some Stamper marriages from c 1650-1876
I am the great granddaughter of Nelson Fitzpatrick WILBURN born in Carter Co KY (1847-1886). There was a WILBURN Stamper,b c 1810,and also Nelson Wilburn's parents and his older siblingslived next farm over from a Stamper family in Carter KY in 1840.Surely, I must have some direct Stamper ancestors. But I can't nail them down. What I do know is this:Lots of Stampers married into families that were kin to my Wilburn ancestors.
The following is a list of surnames who married Stampers.
I've noted the approximate date of their birth by their surname.(All were b in VA/KY/NC) To the best of my knowledge.
Here's the list of surnames who m Stampers. Please let me know if you have any matches. I would love to learn more.
