I am looking for information on a Polly Stamper. I believe she was born in Ashe N.C..She married a James Clevinger in Wise Co. Va. The problem is when she married James Clevinger, she married him as Polly Vanover but it list her parents as Hiram Stamper and Cathrine Taylor. So i feel she must have been married before she married James Clevinger. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks JoAnn e-mail add. grafton@mindspring.com
