Hi Laura,
I can`t believe I`ve found another cousin! This is great! I am also a descendent of Benjamin but I am through his first wife Susan Turner.Benjamin and Susan were my great great grand parents. My great grand parents were Benjamin and Sarah(Sallie). My grand parents were Jefferson Davis(JD)and Margaret(Maggie). my daddy was Gordon Pasco(Pat)and my mother was Dorothy(Dot). I was born and raised in and around Valdosta, Georgia. There are a lot of cemeterys in and around there that have Stalvey`s buried in them. There is an old church called "Wayfare Primitive Baptist Church and Cemetery" located in Echols County.Listed as buried there is Matthew Stalvey,25 Jun 1862-15 Jun 1940 s/o B.S. and Rhoda. My great granddaddy is also burried there.Benjamin S.Stalvey 22 Feb 1829-8 Oct 1874, h/o Sarah Tomlinson, s/o Ben S and Susan Turner. I found this info on the following website www.rootsweb.com/~gaechols/echWP.html
Good luck to you cousin. your new found cousin, Sharon
