Isaac Stalter - PA->IN->OH->IA, b. about 1818

Looking for information on Isaac Stalter, born about 1818. Census data found thus far is a little confusing but believe his migration path was Pennsylvania to Indiana to Ohio to Iowa. Wife's name was Elizabeth, born about 1818 in OH. Believe his children's names were Leah A., b. about 1854 in Indiana, George Washington, born about 1856 in Ohio, and John H., born about 1861 in Ohio. One census gives Isaac's birthplace as Ohio, another says PA. PA seems more likely. He is buried in Madison Co., Iowa. Census says he was a carpenter.

Grandchildren living with Isaac and Elizabeth carry last names of Vance and Walker suggesting this couple had at least 2 daughters who lived to adulthood. Leah does not appear to be the mother of the Vance granddaughter but possibly the mother of the Walker grandchildren.

Any help with this family would be greatly appreciated. They seem to disappear off the radar prior to 1870.
