I am descended from Lucinda Stallcup, b 1816-1818, daughter of Peter and Deborah Stallcup, who married Charles F. Harned, 26 Aug 1834, in Orange Co. Ind. Do you have any info on Lucinda or Deborah (possibly her maiden name or date of death). I have quite a bit of info on Peter and Deborah's family, much of it from Earl Jones' Book but have searched for Deborah's origin for many years and have come up with nothing. I have noticed from Indiana census records thru 1850, that Deborahs reported age makes her too young to be the mother of Henry and Peter (Peter's two oldest sons) and have considered that she may have been a second wife but have never seen any one else speculate this. Do you know of any one who has a family bible for this family? I have Lucinda's date of death in 1854 and have a land record (quit claim deed) that indicates that Deborah lived to about this same time but that is all I have. No exact date. I hope you are still checking for answers to your message as I would be very happy to compare notes with you.
