Isabel was my ggrandfather Charles SIBLEY's third wife. They were md in Jamaica, W.I., between 1876 (when his second wife died) and 1884 (when their first child was born). They had 7 children: Ruby 1884-1896; Emily Maude 1886-1945; Albert Bromby 1889-1961; Frank Stanley 1891-1955; Roslyn Isabel Ray 1896-?; Gerald Livingstone 1894-ca1905; Ivy Isabel May 1899-?. A plate inscribed ISABEL OTHON DE STAINES belonged to her. Her father was (possibly) a "Scotch magistrate" and her mother Castilian.
Does any of this ring a bell with anyone out there? My grandfather was a son from the 2nd marriage, but I'd like to search this line also.
