Hi, Carolyn
I am sure that the Stainbrook family in Berrien Co. fits into the family. The earlies member of the family is a Samuel Stainbrook who was born in Dec 1854 in Illinois. His wife was Mary born Aug 1859 in Michigan. They were the parents of 8 children: three at home in 1900: Fred, Nellie and Clyde. There were some younger ones who were married and may also have been family members: Charles, Edward, and Frank. I think if we can find Samuel's parents we can put them in place. Hope to hear from you soon.
