My father-in-law was Joseph John Stadler, born in Kamenka, Saratov, Russia in 1891. We believe his father was a John J. Stadler and his mother Appolonia Shoenfeldt(?)Stadler. He came to the US ca 1912/13, to bring his sister, Maria & her children, to join her husband, Adam Roth, also from Kamenka we think. There was also a John Stadler (deceased),a cousin once removed (or something) who came to Topeka, KS, and used to have a grocery store. We have not been able to document the years from 1865 to 1912, but the Stadler family went to Russia from Germany in 1767. I don't know if I can add anything to what you know, but would like to hear from you.
