Theresa, I was wondering how you connect to this family, as I have an interest in the STADLERS as well. I am indirectly related through Grace Emeline PARMETER STADLER, wife of Henry STADLER. Grace is the youngest child of my ggg-grandfather, Aaron PARMETER and his second wife, Sarah Emeline BAKER (or Emeline Sarah, depending on her mood!). I am connected through Aaron's eldest son Walter Kendall PARMETER, a product of his first marriage to Lucy Almira BENSON.
Census records indicate that Henry STADLER's father was born in Switzerland, his mother in England.
