Hi I wondered how you were getting on with your query. I suspect that my GrGr grandmother was your Mary Ann's sister Grace. i notcied on a marriage record for their sister Harriet in Week St Mary 27 Aug 1871 that your Mary Ann Heard was a witness along with Thomas Hayman (who I now see is her next husband).
I als wondered if you had seen the burial record for one John Heard bd Week St Mary 12-Dec 1869 age 40 years. Does that sound possible??
Their marriage I found at Week St Mary 03-May 1855 John HEARD
to Mary Ann STACEY witnesses William STACEY Catherine HEARD

I have only just found this connection to Grace (been looking for years but she seems to have put Mary in front of Grace when she came to New Zealand in 1865 with brothers William and John)
Any information we can swap would be greatly appreciated
Merry Christmas
Lisa
