The library is the Allen County Public Library in Ft. Wayne, IN. It has one of the best gene. collections in the country. Unfortunately, it is closed stack so you have to submit library call cards and have the items brought to you. Not very efficient for us when we don't always know what we're looking for! But they have alot and the staff is helpful.

The Wisconsin Historical Society library in Madison also has a very good gene. collection and it is open stacks. Since many Germans immigrated to WI, they have alot on German immigrants.

I believe neither library has the resources to answer specific e-mail or phone questions. Both are online. Check Cyndi's List URL for information. Good luck!
