Response to an inquiry on CJ Koelmeyer:-

Carolina Johanna Koelmeyer who married Anthony Vanderveen on 28/6/1822. Both were resident in Negombo at the time of the marriage and professed the Roman Catholic faith.

She is most likely to be either the daughter or niece of Leonardus Theodosius Koelmeyer. We have hypothesised that six males (Cornelius Albertus, L.R. et al) were either his off-spring or nephews. At least two of their marriages took place in Negombo, and most of them married in the 1820s.

Carolina Johanna Koelmeyer was certainly of their generation and very likely a sister or cousin.
