Phillips, planters in Ceylon

I am trying to trace my mother's family history. Especially any information of their residence in Ceylon before the Great War.

They were mostly tea planters at this time and there is some connection with St Coombes Estate long before it became the TRI. My greatgrandfather is said to have been originally in coffee and later a tea pioneer. Phillips senior may have been Welsh and his wife was a Miss O'Neil from Northern Ireland.

Can anyone help?
