Hi A. Samarainghe

My name is Dylan Philip Perera, Son of Philip Perera and Damayanthi Nella Wijayaratna, Philip is the son of Zita Goonetilike and Edward Aloyius Sylvester Wilfred Perera - Aunty Effies brother. I must say thank you for your amazing work!. My parents have very little memory of our history and as I am in Canada I have resorted to the internet to try and piece together my heritage. I want to find out more and am reading many books on Sri Lankan history. I will have to go to Sri Lanka one day when I am done my studies to see all the places my parents have talked about and to further research. I am in contact with Aunty Maryanne but its hard as she is not always on the net. Uncle Marky and Aunty Nalinee have been a great help to bring meaning and relevance to the stories grandma and grandpa told me. Feel free to contact me via email or on Facebook if you have an account, I would love to chat and find out more about my history or ways to go about finding more information.

Thank you again,

Dylan Perera
a distant relative of yours:)
