The dutch embassy has great clout re. the Sri Lanka archives. I wrote to them, and they quickly got hold of the head of the archives where many of these records are.
Dutch embassy paid for certain sections of the Sri Lanka archives to be established, and they trained Sri Lankans to work with these documents.

If many of us request these documents to be photographed and put on the web...or some method where people from all over the world could access...then they will do something.
This is one of the things i requested.

Sri Lankans don't respond so easily. But if you contact Dutch embassy in Sri Lanka, they will swiftly reply. I figured that....so that is why i contacted them.
