On page 513 of 20th C Impressions of Ceylon is a photo of Peter de Abrew with the following text"Mr Peter de Abrew son of William de Abrew was born on April2 1863in Colombo and was educated at theColombo Academy(now the Royal College)and joined his father in business with whom he had commercial training.He then started business on his own account as a produce merchant, and in 1904 was appointed by the Govt of Ceylon to the office of Asst Commissioner at the St Louis Exhibition in USA of 1904 for the purpose of specially looking after the development of Commerce. He returned to Ceylon in 1905 and joined the firm of Volkart Bros.He is a Member of the Royal Asiatic Society,Fellow of the ImperialInstitute, and Manager and one of the Trustees of the Musaeus School for Buddhist Girls and Scy of the Ceylon Reform Society. etc" I am aware that the Abrew family is still on the Board of Trustees of Musaeus College Colombo and you could contact them direct through Mr Ajitha de Zoysa through Musaeus College,Rosmead Place, Colombo.
