Research in Holland
Posted by: Charles Joseph (ID *****8785) Date: May 03, 2010 at 21:22:26

I shall be going to London and then onto Holland during the summer this year - mainly to do some genealogical research in Holland in a town called Oene in the municipality of Epe. This is where my g g g g grandmother Anna Catherina Riphagen came from. She came to Ceylon and subsequently married Abraham Joseph in the DRC Wolvendaal in 1802. Any tips from any of you seasoned researcers about the do's and dont's of Dutch research? Any thing no matter how scant will help. Thanks

Charles Joseph
