Hello from Canada.
I am hoping that someone may be able to provide me with some information on the following individual or point me in the right direction. I have all the information on him from Canada, but I am looking for the details of his time spent in Sri Lanka.
His name was William Henry Le Mercier Batstone. He was a Doctor of Medicine who worked in the Tea plantations in Ceylon or as a Missionary. He was originally from Toronto, Canada. I believe he married a native Ceylonese girl and had six children - 3 boys named John, George and Edward Williams and 3 Girls named Evelyn, Lily and Mabel Williams. He died in Ceylon in the 1940's.
