Request information re subject who emigrated to Ceylon (Sri Lanka)possibly in the 1920's. Neil lived at Burnbank, Hamilton, Scotland. Neil's parents were Peter and Mary Gallacher nee Lyons. Siblings included Hanna, Helen, Catherine,Daniel and John
From rather vague family recollections it seems Neil was involved with the railways and in tea-planting in Ceylon.
Any information would be appreciated.
