Hi Jennifer
Thanks for your message. My wife's family are Tamils who, when they were converted to Christianity, took the surname of one of the American Missionaries who were there at the time, which in their case, was 'Winslow'. Her mother was also part of another family who were converted. In her case the name adopted was 'Crossett'.
