Looking for WORMS
Posted by: Derrick Wright (ID *****1288) Date: September 22, 2007 at 07:18:33

I am attempting to trace details of my Great/Great Grandfather, Samuel Lewis WORMS,on my mothers side. The line is -Godlieb/Nathanielsz/Euginie Worms/S.L Worms m:Loos.
The time bracket is 1800-1870 or so as the name is mentioned in the Ceylon Almanac of 1851. I suspect there may be a connection with the brothers M & G Worms who pioneered early tea plantation in Ceylon. There is a mention of Pusselawa & Rothschilds tea estates. Any information or leads appreciated. Derrick Wright
