Beatrix van Langenberg died too young for me to remember her but all her sisters were friends of my mother's and I remember them well. Unfortunately I can only offer hearsay about her marriages, but I had a Jansz great-grandmother and one of her daughters told me of two unrelated (!?) Jansz families in Ceylon and two brothers and a sister from one family married two sisters and a brother from the other. (My great-grandmother belonged to one of them.) So Trixie's two husbands were double first cousins. The date of her marriage to (Sir) Eric must be wrong. She had no children by Sir Eric, one son by Ernest Henly. The son, Clifford, became a medical doctor, married Rosemary Walbeoff and settled in London. He had a daughter Anne who holidayed in Ceylon in the mid-sixties and I think other children.
