Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Ceylon links

The Church of the Latter-day Saints of Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, is the largest repository for genealogy/history micro films/fiche in the world. On their website http://www.familysearch.org/ from their Library section I have copied 4232 Ceylon links which are titles only of microfilms of VOC books, marriage, birth, death registers and various Thombos. There are also notes on regular books.
For easy reference I have copied the file in Excel, divided into 5 columns: LINKS; DATES; SOURCE; PLACE NAMES; AUTHOR & FAMILY NAMES.
Please visit my website at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jennifergreft/
And read the instructions for a down load or just web browsing.
Click on the LDS-CEYLON link on the left hand.
