The All Saints Church in Hulftsdorf was consecrated on All Saints Day 1865.The Church
is described in F.L. Beben's book "A History of the Diocese of Colombo" 1946 as "cruciform
with large Gothic windows, and the style may
be generally described as early British"The
Church has no graveyard.
The Genealogy of the Ludekens family is found
in the Dutch Burgher Union Journal Vol XXXVI
of January 1947.The only entry there which may have some relevance to your inquiry is
under Item VI which reads as follows:
Rebecca Jemima(Ludekens) born 2nd April 1844
died 20th October 1906,married in the Dutch
Reformed Church,Wolvendaal, 23rd December 1869,Henry Adolphus Collette,Assistant Supdt
of Police,born 26 th Feb 1844 died 26th June
1931,son of GerardusWilhelmusCollette,Proctor
and Henrietta Grenier nee de Rooy
I hope the above will help you in your research.
