August 1861. Residence at time of enlistment given as Montgomery, Kane
County, Illinois. Attached to 36th Illinois Volunteers (Infantry) as
Company 'A' (Cavalry). Wounded in the leg Oct 3th or 4th 1882 at the
Battle of Corinth (Mississippi).

Listed as living in or near Utica, Seward County, Nebraska in Special
Census of Union Veterans 1890 and as a 'Farmer' 1893. Was still in
Nebraska at least until 1898 but not listed in the 1910 census. His
wife's name may have been Luiella (?), not known if there were any
children.
