DESPERATELY SEEKING SPURLINS!!!
Malissa/Ann (?) SPURLIN, born 1861 in AL married James "Madison" Butler in Etowah County, AL abt 1878. They're shown in the 1880 census, with a baby son. Then she is in the 1900 census, widowed, on a farm in Cherokee Cty, AL, with 5 kids. The oldest of her kids was my ggrandfather, Arthur. This is all the info that I can find..and I have SEARCHED! I'd love to know her background, anything at all! I know where my ggrandfather ended up, along with 1 sister & 1 brother, but the rest of the family seemed to just disappear..If anyone has any knowledge of this family, please tell me. Madison was born abt 1858-59 in AL to John Butler and Epsey Golden. My email address is email@example.com. Thanks! Rochelle
