Catharine Sproul and John White were identified in Washington County and later Lancaster County, Pennsylvania late in the 1790's to early 1800's. There is some indication that they came form Ireland with two children: William and Elizabeth. The White family history has son William and the other nine eventual children all attending the Middle Octoraria and finally the Union United Pressbyterian Church, Oxford, PA.; paying piew dues to that church during the 1820's. We are looking for links to Catharine and John to find where/when they came to America and links back further.
