Hi Vern,
My Sproul ancestors came from Paisley too, but I don't have any Matthew's in my data. In fact, I've only found a total of 10 Sproul's I'm related to out the many that lived in Paisley. My Sproul's emigrated to Manitoba, Canada in 1880-1881. Here's the website where I found my info on my Sproul's. http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/
