I'm only two years late. Alexander Grier/Greer and Mary Spratt/Sprott married in 1802. Mary was born in 1780 and is buried at Steele Creek with Alexander & all their children except my GG Grandfather who went west. I believe Susannah who married Thomas Grier and Mary were sisters. Thomas Grier was my Alexander's uncle. I believe Martha Grier who witnessed James Sprott will was my Alexander's mother. Alexander and Mary Sprott Grier/Greer's first child was James Spratt Greer and the second was my GGgrandfather John M. Greer who died in Nevada Co. AR. You can email me at r-rpierce@msn.com
