My wife is a descendant of Hugh Sprott from Mechlanburg N.C. TI was beginning to think that her family was the only Sprott (or in some cases Spratts) in North America. The last time I looked here there were no Sprott/Spratt listed.
Hugh's son Elam Mac Sprott came to Texas in 1853 qith 3 children, and had others here. One moved to S. Texas, another when to Kansas.
I do have a question for Jim Sprott. Is his nick name "Rocky"?
