Jimmy: Next time you are in Georgia, go to CHATSWORTH(Murray County) right next door to Dalton, This is where the Springfields settled after coming down from Fort Mountain, before that So. Carolina, and then into Dalton Georgia, then into Rome Ga. and Chattanooga, Tennessee and spread out from there. There are still a few Springfields in Chatsworth (one is an officer) and I only know of one in Dalton,Ga, He owns a garage. Look up on the yellow pages in Dalton, Ga. for a Springfield Garage.
