To all the Springfield family and friends,
The purpose of the Springfield DNA Project is to locate male direct line Springfield surname people and then to give an absolute proven line of the connections in the Springfield family.
The desired result will be to locate the Springfield men around the world and trace our migration over thousands of years. For those in the US this means the DNA will trace the migration across America and the 1.000 's of years prior to America. For those outside of the US this will help connect our history and migration around the world.
This will help determine true countries of origin.
I would like to encourage all Springfield family researchers who need to connect to a Springfield Family line, or want to verify your own traditional research, to consider having a Male Springfield family member join our DNA project, you will not only help yourself but other Springfield researchers now and in the future.
