Dear JoAnn,
Moore was not the father to George W. Springfield. He might have been the brother to him. He was to young to be his father. When I look on microfilm it said that his father name started with a M & his mothers name was Elizabeth. I think his father was Moses, but I can't prove it yet.
I just thought that I would let you know. The reason I said that I made the same mistake to and said that Moore was the father. When I looked at the Census records I had I notice that they were to close in the same age to be father and son. I found this when I was trying to copy stuff for someone, or I don't think I would have noticed.
George William died Feb. 15, 1856. I'm not sure where he is buired. I have been trying to find the Cemetery where he is suppose to be buired at, and I've had no luck yet in finding it.
Benjamin died in Liberty, Kentucky. It is located in Webster Co.
The only thing I can tell you about Genella (Janetta) Sights is that she supposelly died abt 1900. She was suppose to died when my grandfather was 8 years old. Which would have been that time frame. I have been trying to get the Census Records for Jasper Co. Mo. Thomas Lee Springfield moved there after Genella(Janetta) died. Do you have the Census Records for him over that way? All I know is that he lived at Joplin in Jasper Co. Mo. From 1900- until he died Apr. 22, 1951 in Mo.
Well if there is anything I can help you on let me know, and I will try to help, if I can.
