Hi Ronnie,
Just cannot tell you just how blown away I am, without a word of a lie my side of the family has been looking for your side since my Gran died back in 1976. Timing is incredible as I only discovered 6 months ago that Kathleen had also had son “Jack” when I received an original copy of his fathers will. Gran was the keeper of so many secrets and lies that what we have subsequently discovered since her death is so amazing, if we did not have the documentation, no one would believe it. To be brief, your Dad sounds like he very much took after his Grandfather, Thomas Beverly Spring Snr (1844?51 Ohio?Toronto-1922 Durban). Both my Dads parents grew up and married in Durban but left in 1914, travelling to Canada & the USA before finally settling in Sydney about 1920. The Family then seems to have had a falling out in 1922 (the 3rd we think in 100 years) when TB Snr dies, possibly over the family farm in Durban “Attacliff”.So much to share and to ask!!!!!!!!!!! Please email me at [email protected]
Best Regards
Mark.
