I believe that Wilson Spriggs, is the son of Morris D. Spriggs and Amanda Johnson. They are in the 1870 and 1880 census of Greene Co, Ind. In 1900 they were in Perkins, Payne Co, Ok before going to Lane Co, Oregon where they died. In 1900 the daughter of Morris and Amanda was in Lincoln Co, Iowa Twp. She was Cora who married Alvin Fitzpatrick. (One of Fitzpatrick sons had the middle name Shannon.) Another son was also in Ok before going to Oregon.
Morris was the son of William Oliver Spriggs and Sidney James. William was the son of Benjamin Spriggs and Catherine Harshman, both of who died in Belmont Co, Oh. William Oliver went to Wayne Co Ill along with other Spriggs family members, then to Kansas with his second wife, where he died. Morris' uncle Morris moved to Noble Co, Oh where is was a distinguished lawyer and judge. Many of the Spriggs were very successful famers, lawyers, and doctors.
Sidney James, Wilson's grandmother was a Quaker who was dropped when she and her sister Rebecca married Spriggs'
brothers. I descend from Rebecca and her husband Samuel, both of whom died in Wayne Co, Ill.
