I don't know if this will help you much, it is a link to the Church of Latter Day Saints. I looked through what they have for George in Kentucky and this link will take you to the results of that search. If any of those listed match what you are looking for or you need to check them out further you may be able to contact either the local Police Dept., Library, Funeral home, County Court House, or the News Paper. Any of the above may be able to direct your search in the location of papers i.e. Death, Marriage, Birth certificates or maybe even land deeds - all of which might have some vital information for you.
