I know this reply is several years after the question was asked, but Hortense Spratlin was my grandmother. Her maiden name was Blasingame. "Billy" was my father & went by "Bill" as an adult. Hortense died in 2001, about 2 weeks before her 95th birthday. She was a spunky gal who always spoke her mind and was always busy. I have an older brother, Harold, and an older sister, Lisa. If anyone is interested in knowing more, please contact me. My sister is very interested in our genealogy and has done some work of her own & would greatly appreciate any information regarding our family, particularly on the Spratlin side, since we have little information there.
