I am still searching for proof that Phebe Sprague, born Aug.13,1820 was the daughter of Hosea and Cloe Sprague. She married William Mattley in 1841 in Indiana. In a note on the Sprague Project,correspondent,Patricia Rockwell mentioned a family group sheet from Chelys Hester, that information came from the Matley family bible, court records, and Civil War records. Does anyone know about a Matley family bible? Phebe and William Mattley were my
G-G-grandparents. 1850 census shows Hosea Sprague living with William and Phebe Mattley but doesn't give the relationship. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, MC
