Edward J. COOK, born 1868 in Mohawk, NY [New York]; died Apr. 29, 1938 Columbus, SC [South Carolina] m.Clara SPRAGUE of Boston, MA [Massachusetts].

    Sarah COOK; married Arthur HATHAWAY,
    Elizabeth COOK; married Daniel WILCOX,
    Esther/Hester COOK; married Thomas TABER,
    Mary COOK; married 1st: Philip TABER, married 2nd: Aaron (?) DAVIS, and
    Mercy COOK; married Stephen WEST.

The "Pilgrim Society" comes up under the "Old Colony Club" and both are connected to Pilgrim Hall check out

The information listed says "membership is not based on lineage, the society welcomes all who wish the pilgrim story to be preserved and commemorated." So, if Edward COOK did belong to this club, he didn't have to prove anything.
I received information from a Cook descendant that Edward "claimed lineage from Francis Cooke thru his son John" who had daughters listed above.
