Yesterday, I found William Archibald Spooner's children listed on page 152 of the book "The Spooners of Middle England" by Captain Anthony Spooner, DSO, DFC.

William Wycliffe (Bill) Spooner (1882-1956), married twice 1. Maddie, 2. Mercie Milling. Read Engineering at Cambridge, founded The Spooner Drying & Engineering Co of Ilkley, Yorks. The company, now part of a larger group, has a web site at http://www.spooner.co.uk/index.html. Keen art collector. Only son William killed in World War II when on bombing raid.

Frances Catherine Spooner (1883- ) married Campbell Dodgson. Her talents as a water colour painter were recognised late in her life.

Rosemary Spooner(1886-1976) CBE Oxford City Councillor.

Ellen Maxwell (Nel) Spooner(1890 - ) married Arthur Murray R.N.

Agnes Mary Spooner (1893- )
